Today is the first day of October and apparently there is a lot going on besides embracing the fall weather and gearing up for Halloween. These are all of the things focused on during October in the U.S.

Domestic Violence Awareness Month
National Arts and Humanitites Awareness Month
Pregnancy Loss and Infant Loss Awareness Month
Clergy Appreciate Awareness Month
National Cyber Security Awareness Month
Fair Trade Month
Auto Battery Safety Month
National Pork Month
That is a ridiculous amount of things to bring awareness to this month. We need a story about a gay Filipino dwarf with breast cancer that was beat by her partner while appreciating art and being counseled by a clergyman about her poor cyber security when trying to use fair trade to acquire batteries and lots of pork. That’d get them all in.
